FAQ

How is your hemp processed?

Each seed is planted by hand in our greenhouse. the seedlings are then moved to our fields of nutrient rich, PH-balanced soil and watered by an innovative drip system. Our farming technique lowers atmospheric CO2, doing what we can to help global climate change.

Harvesting is also done by hand. Each plant is carefully inspected and only  the highest-quality flowers and leaves are dried.

The dried biomass is then frozen and the trichomes removed to make kief. decarboxylation activates the cannabinoids, which are then extracted with oil to make a honey-like tincture. No harsh chemicals, no extreme temperatures or pressures, no big machines.

Do you grow all your own product?

We are a relatively new farm. Perfecting our own farming practice takes time. While we are fine-tuning our growing and processing, we also source from a partner farm, who shares in our respect for the land and overall regenerative agriculture practices.

Is hemp legal?

Since 2018 hemp-derived CBD and other cannabinoids (such as CBG and CBN) are legal under federal law throughout the US. However, each state may regulate CBD and other cannabinoids separately from the federal government. We look forward to the day when we can say that all cannabinoid products can be used by anyone as they see fit, just like any other nutritional supplement.

Why does CBD seem to work for some people and not others?

Pharmaceutical drugs and nutritional supplements do not elicit the same response in every person. Hemp is no different. People respond differently to different physical routines, food and other substances they consume. We are each unique. Statistically about 80% of people experience great benefits from taking CBD and other cannabinoids.
